Running GNUtrition for the First Time

Start GNUtrition for the command-line simply: 

$gnutrition

Installing the Database

When GNUtrition starts for the first time, it prompts for the MySQL root password you typed in before.

GNUtrition will then install its nutrient database, which will take a short time.

Entering your Information

This screen allows to enter your height, sex and weight, this is needed to calculate your dietary requirements.

GNUtrition will then move to the main screen.
