                                       Collection<ExecutableElement> elementMethods)

Validates the collection of methods that were passed.

Parameters:

element - the root element, generally the interface.

elementMethods - the methods of the interface.

Returns:

a collection of messages or a an empty collection if no errors or warnings were found.
